The Scheme administrator, Barnett Waddingham, provides you with online access to manage your pension, where you can view your pension benefits, prepare your own retirement projections and update your contact and expression of wish details. Click on Pension self-service above to log into your account.
Barnett Waddingham is becoming Howden
Our scheme administrator, Barnett Waddingham, is changing their name to Howden from September 2026. This means their administration services will join with Howden’s specialist expertise to strengthen the high-quality service they’re known for.
Over the coming months there will be some changes, including updates to the branding. You might have even seen ‘Part of Howden’ next to the Barnett Waddingham logo already. This is all part of the transition period.
You don’t need to do anything – the same trusted, personal service remains. If you’re currently receiving a pension, this won’t be affected and will continue to be paid to you in the same way.
Changes to your online Clarity from BW account
If you’re registered for online services, you’ll also notice some changes to your Clarity from BW account.
When you log into your Clarity account from 8 September 2026, you’ll see the website address has changed to https://account.clarityhowden.com
You’ll be redirected from the old website address https://account.claritybw.co.uk to their new home at Howden for a short time.
Any emails you receive will also come from a new address ending @howden-group.co.uk instead of @barnett-waddingham.co.uk
You’ll still have access to Pension self-service and all its great features – this is just part of refreshing Clarity to match our new identity.
